Shopping/Lunch trip for widows - August 28th
ATTENTION ALL WIDOWS*********
Please mark your calendar for Saturday, August 28th. We will be going to the Farmer's Market on the square in Marietta then we will have lunch (or breakfast) at Old Ephraims - on the square. Please plan to be there around 10:15 to shop at the open air farmer's market then we will walk across the square for lunch. Old Ephraim's serves breakfast until 12:00 but they start serving lunch at 11:00 so you will have your choice of breakfast or lunch. We will plan to be seated for lunch around 11:15. Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University
FPU is back!!! Classes for Dave Ramsey's course are scheduled for Sunday, August 22nd - Sunday, November 14th at 5:00 PM weekly.
Cost is $100/couple for new students and is free if you have taken the class before. Contact Jeff Bowen or the church office to sign up or more information. |
Father's Heart - Classes Start Thursday, August 12th
Through the training of Father's Heart, you will embark upon a journey that will change your life. This change comes when you willingly open your heart and mind to the healing power of God. Christ fully accomplished our death on the cross, but our carnal nature refuses to stay dead, it springs back to life.

Home Groups - 2nd and 4th Sundays
Home Groups meet on the 2nd & 4th Sunday’s of the month. Home groups will meet at Joan Higdon and also Gillienne & Joseph Stanley’s home from 5-7pm. This is a great way to develop long lasting relationships with other church members. |
Now Accepting Donations for Joseph's Storehouse
Missions@Marietta is now accepting donations for the Joseph's Storehouse!! We are accepting donations of perishable and non-perishable food items - paper goods, meat, milk, canned goods, rice, pasta, etc.
Please bring your donations to the Missions display located on the nursery hall outside the sanctuary. Your donations will be used to help those in our local church and community that need a little help getting through the month or a difficult time. |

Special Wednesday Night Training called "RAPHA" - August 25th and September 8th
There will be training on ministering one on one on Wednesday night, August 25th and September 8th. This will meet in the old conference room of building B.

Rosh Chodesh Services - Second Friday every Month
A Rosh Chodesh service is being held in the Children's Chapel the 2nd Friday of each month. The service is led by Dr Nudelman and goes from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Bring a covered dish to be eaten after service (dairy dishes only).
The next service celebrates the Feast of Trumpets and takes place on Friday, September 10th. |
Fall Session of Music Academy Starts August 16th
The fall session of the Marietta Academy of Music & Worship Arts begins August 16th. This semester consists of 16 weekly lessons.
Registration: $20 Fee
Lessons: $20 per 30 minute private lesson or $15 per 30 minute group lesson

Giggles And Grace Fall Consignment Sale

Rafting Trip
We are working on getting a rafting trip together for this summer. If you are 16 years old or older and are interested in going, please see Christi Barter. The date is TBD at this time. We are trying to get an idea on the interest to get the group discount. |

We are looking for vendors for our Fall Craft Fair. Dates are October 22nd and 23rd. If you (or someone you know) are interested in selling your crafts, please pick up a form at the concierge desk. |
Sponsor a Life Learning Community Center Student
Our Life Learning Community Center is in need of sponsors for students. Not all of the students can afford the books needed for the classes they take to better themselves. Sponsorship includes a monetary donation, as well as the opportunity to pray for your student, create a relationship with your student, and be a witness of Jesus Christ to your student. Please pray about sponsoring a student and sign up at the missions table. |
